User report:
Trying to read Peugeot Bosch MD1CS003 ECU with CG FC200 programmer but always get this error (Connection timeout. Check if the connection is correct.). All connections are fine.
Autotuner read it fine.
Check part number.
If PSA MD1 ECU part number version is 034/035/036, it can be read on bench.
If part number version is 037/038/039, it is not possible to read.
The ECU part number is 0 281 036 039. So it’s not locked. If FC200 fails to read ECU, use other tools. That’s why you always need a backup tool.
