Problem:
Set up the PADFlash software, connect the device, select a driver and try to read a EDC16 ECU, it asks to select a driver first. But the driver is already selected and the software detected the voltage. It still asks to select a driver.
Any solution?
Solution:
1. Run Padflash updater manager tool.
2. Hit Active to run PADFlash software.
3. Close PADFlash software. Keep PADFlash updater running.
4. Wait 20 seconds, hit Active again and run PADFlash software.
Also, if the software does not display brand logo (marked red circle below), it means that the computer does not have super administrator permissions.
Enable your laptop super administrator permissions, you can see the brand logo.
