Question:
Reading and writing PSA Continental VD56.1 ECU in boot is possible with Autotuner. There are otp areas on this ecu. If anyone has tried and succeeded in cloning it?
Here is the clue.
These ECU are impossible to clone, the OTP areas mean that there is nothing that can be done. Many people use Julie emulator and use it to do immo off.
This ecu has OTP areas so although the data will copy the vehicle will not start. Only option is immo off via emulator for used ecu, Julie emulator works well.
Emulator is soldered directly to ecu board and then you keep ecu powered up on bench until emulator lights flash differently. Only issue is Julie emulator can take up to 96 hours to crack pincode when connected.
For example:
Autotuner read and write Continental VD56.1 Peugeot 308 1.2l ECU in Boot mode. Not ok with autotuner power, but ok with battery power. Perfectly.
