Question: How to read (without opening) a Bosch ECU (0261S11653 / 8639595-01 / 170500554 DME) of a BMW 320i (F30) vehicle with foxflash?
I have tried the connection in several ways… but so far without success.
Solution:
It is a MEVD17.2.9 ECU. Foxflash pinout to MEVD17.2.9
RED: + 12V 1, 22, 40
BLACK: GROUND 2
BLUE: CAN-H 43
ORANGE: CAN-L 44
WHITE 16
BROWN 43
To read and write use the following driver:
→ BENCH TRICORE
→ BMW
→ TC1797 – BMW
→ MEVD17.2.9
Feedback:
I was able to successfully read the DME.
Note on the cable there are two white wires, (one pure white and the other with a red stripe), the correct one is pure white.
